Therapeutic Approaches
LUC provides individual and family counseling for children and their family who are experiencing disruptive, behaviors, anger outbursts and social/ problem solving difficulties. Counseling may address a range of issues such as ADHD, depression, defiance, mood disorders, and adjustment problems at school or in the home. Also offering EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Regulation) for clients who have experienced trauma.

Individualized Approach
The treatment approach provides an individual plan of care, tailored to met the needs of each client. Treatment is confidential and information is only shared with other parties upon client request. Clients are encouraged to work on problems, by setting a series of appropriate goals and objectives in order to find solutions that for for each individual.

Enroll/Quailfy
How to enroll:
1. Make a referral- a referral can be made by calling the office number and completing a quick screening. Referrals can be made by prospective clients, parents, teachers, doctors, etc. 2. Schedule an intake session- Paperwork is completed and other necessary information is given. 3. Begin working toward goals- Client will begin working on individual goals. How to Qualify: LUC Counseling has a private contract with the Oklahoma Health Care Authority to provide counseling services to those who have medicaid or Sooner Care through the state of Oklahoma. If you do not receive these benefits, other accommodations can be worked out on an individual basis. |
